CHA 2010 Annual Awards

CHA's Annual Awards were presented at a formal dinner at the CHA National Conference in Adelaide this August, honouring and highlighting the excellent work of members and their staff in four key areas - leadership, nursing, outreach healthcare and positive ageing.

Thanks to Hesta Super Fund, winners each received a prize of $5,000 to put towards program and professional development opportunities of their choosing.

The Emerging CHA Leader Award is being judged by John Menadue, former CEO of Qantas, former head of three Federal Government departments and former chair of several major health reviews.

The Catholic Health and Aged Care Nurse of the Year Award is being judged by Chief Commonwealth Nurse Rosemary Bryant.

The Outreach Healthcare Award is being judged by Catholic Social Services Australia CEO Frank Quinlan and St Vincent de Paul Society CEO John Falzon.

The Leadership in Positive Ageing Award is being judged by Alzheimer's Australia CEO Glenn Rees.
